The South Florida GIS Expo is an annual conference sponsored by the Palm Beach Countywide GIS Forum. The South Florida GIS Expo serves as a way to foster collaboration, Geographic Information System coordination, networking, education and training for the rapidly expanding professional GIS Community in the South Florida Region.

We will be exhibiting at THE 10th ANNUAL CENTRAL FLORIDA GIS WORKSHOPGIS in a Changing World, September 19 – 20, 2016 at the Ocean Center, 101 N Atlantic Ave, in Daytona Beach
The Program includes Technical Sessions from Esri and other presenters, User Presentations, a Map Gallery, Exhibitors and a Monday Social. The Workshop Keynotes include Charlie Fitzpatrick – ESRI’s Schools Program Manager, Tyler Radford, Executive Director, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap (OSM) Team and Cindy Schmidt, Research Scientist/Associate Program Manager, Ecological Forecasting Program Team, Bay Area Environmental Research Institute, NASA Ames Research Center.

Available on Tuesday, September 20th, at 2 PM are the Workshop free open sessions. Participants can check out the GISP Certification / Recertification Workshop, put some of the world’s most vulnerable people on the map during our Missing Maps Mapathon, and either participate in or watch our inaugural drone races! Finally if you’re a FLURISA member, the annual FLURISA meeting will be held at 3:30 pm Tuesday. Hear how FLURISA is working for you.
